  We recently hired a canal boat from CollegeCruisers. When we arrived the boat was fairly clean. Once on our voyage, we called Carys, the proprietor to inform her the TV was not working, my statement was met with silence and then "well, it was working when it left here". Later on, we called for assistance about the battery dying overnight, and again silence on the phone and then she said we werent running the engine enough - we ran the engine for 7 hours the next day and the same problem happened again causing our food in the refrigerator to be spoiled - no breakfast that day.
  
  Once we returned to the wharf early, we asked to have the TV and battery fixed, the maintenance person we spoke to was quite rude and dismissive about our problems and only swapped out the TV but did not comprehend the problem with the battery and left.
  
  If you do hire a boat from CollegeCruisers (not recommended), make sure you speak only with Carys - even though she wont solve your problem, at least you wont be subjected to the rude behavior of incompetent maintenance personnel.
